HPS Alliance is dedicated to Full-spectrum intelligence. WE are the new normal. WE are the solution.

We have many Gifts. Here are a few...

HSP

HSP, or Highly Sensitive Person, is used to describe a person who is more sensitive than ‘average’ to smell, taste, touch, or other sensory information. HSP is not a disorder. We say that being highly sensitive is a gift that comes with challenges. Highly sensitive is like a race car, you’d better learn how to drive it well or you may crash!

We say that HSP could mean, Human Super Potential. Like a super hero, HSP individuals may see more detail, or hear more acutely, or smell more keenly, or feel more sensation than ‘average.’ This can be overwhelming. When an empowering mindset and specific skills are developed, HSP individuals have an advantage. Using awareness and training, HSP individuals and families can set up their environments for success, and choose lifestyle and careers that work with their gifts.

Dyslexia

Search online… This is what the world says: “Dyslexia is a learning disability in reading.” Argh!! Stop!! We say, Dyslexia is a Gift! It is an innate way of thinking and learning, often visual, rather than sound-based. Dyslexia is not ‘being slow.’ Dyslexic thinking is typically VERY high speed visual images, processing at thousands of times faster than the conscious mind is aware.  Dyslexia is linked with creativity, problem-solving, the arts, athletes,  and invention. You might say it is a form of genius. What about the learning disorder?  It is true, dyslexics often experience difficulties with reading, writing, spelling, and math as taught in ‘average’ classrooms, using old traditional methods. Dyslexic learning difficulties can be corrected by learning strategies that actually benefit all learners, both dyslexic and non-dyslexic alike, right in the classroom. Certain learning strategies, such as those taught by Davis Dyslexia Facilitators, change lives, increase self worth, and unlock the brilliance within dyslexic individuals of all ages! The change is dramatic and occurs in as little as one week. This is the most promising change in education we have seen! We have seen the Davis Method work in the lives of older adults, one at the age of 79 years old! Don’t miss out.
